Bessie Mary Gop, 97, a native and long time resident of Housatonic died Wednesday, August 25, 2010 in Westfield, MA.

She is survived by her children, John Gop, Jr. and Nancy Gop-Lyons and her husband, Richard, all of Westfield, MA. She also leaves her granddaughter Suzanne Santoni and her husband Richard, her great granddaughter Stephanie Santoni and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 28, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home in Great Barrington, MA.

Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 10:15 a.m. at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church in Housatonic, MA. Burial will follow at St. Bridget's Cemetery in Housatonic.
