Amelia Ann Finnerty

Amelia Ann Finnerty daughter of Jonathan and Melinda Finnerty passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. She was born on Friday, July 27, 2018 in Pittsfield, MA.

Along with her parents Jonathan and Melinda Finnerty, Amelia is survived by her maternal grandparents John Michael and Kathleen Gowdey, paternal grandmother Laura Jane Finnerty, aunts and uncles Maureen and Aaron Garner, Kristin Finnerty and Daniel Lanoue, Meghan Finnerty, Kevin and Sarah Finnerty and her cousins Prestley Garner, Ian and Kathryn Lanoue and Olivia Finnerty.

She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather Kevin B. Finnerty.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Baystate Medical Center who became more like Amelia’s extended family than simply caregivers through the extraordinarily compassionate care that they provided. The family will be forever grateful.
