Barbara Ann Lamanno

Mrs. Barbara Ann Lamanno, 76, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away early Saturday morning, August 5, 2017 at her home.
Born in Noroton, Connecticut on June 4, 1941 she was the daughter of Frank and Jeannette Lineburgh Selas. She was a graduate of Darien High where she was a member of the acapella glee club, the choir, was a cheerleader as well as a baton twirler.
Barbara loved all things fashion. Regardless of the event she was always glamorous. She topped off every outfit with a fancy hat. She loved celebrating the holidays; holidays incorporated two of her favorite things decorating but more importantly spending time with family and friends. One of the activities she enjoyed doing was coloring with her grandchildren.
She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of James A. Modolo VFW Post #8348 in Great Barrington.
She is survived by her children, Lisa Hubbard and husband John, Mark Bunn and wife Sonia, Margherita Lamanno and husband Harry Lennex and her stepdaughters, Mary Lou Moseley and Elizabeth Lamanno. She also leaves her grandchildren, Lindsey O’Grady, Justin Hubbard, Amanda Torres, Amber Bunn, Samantha Bunn, Stella Lennex and Celia Lennex and her great grandchildren, Kayla, Tyler and Jayce O’Grady, Meya, Adrianna and Michelle Torres, along with her ever-faithful cat Felix.
She was predeceased by her son Steven Bunn in 1987 and her husband James Lamanno in 2007.
SERVICES - The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 8th from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home in Great Barrington.
The family invites everyone to join them for a graveside service on Wednesday, August 9th at 10:00 a.m. Sheffield Center Cemetery, Berkshire School Road, Sheffield, MA.
