February 23, 1928 — October 10, 2015

Baukje P. Cohen, 87, of Manhattan, NY, and Ashley Falls, MA, succumbed to Alzheimer disease on Saturday, October 10. Devoted wife of Noel and mother of Mark, mother-in-law to Sheila, and grandmother to Kaitlyn and Christopher, aunt to Kathy, Mitch, and Sabrina, Lauren, Savannah, and Allison. A wonderful woman, talented artist, former head of the hematology laboratory at the university hospital of Utrecht, the Netherlands until her marriage to Dr. Noel L Cohen in 1957, as well as teacher to generations of interns and medical students at Belleview Hospital in New York. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends in both Sheffield and New York City.
