Corissa L. Woiten

Corissa L. Woiten, 41, of Canaan, CT, died early Friday morning, June 11, 2021, at Fairview Commons in Great Barrington, MA.

She was born on November 17, 1979, in Torrington, CT, the daughter of Marsha Wilson and Richard J. Woiten. She was a graduate of Mt. Everett High School.

Corissa was self-employed as a housekeeper and took pride in her work. She loved music and dancing and made it a priority to attend festivals. She was also a gifted fantasy artist. Her biggest passion was cooking and she earned sous chef level under the Culinary Institute of America.

She is survived by her daughter, Kaila Martel of Sheffield, MA, her mother Marsha Wilson of Canaan, CT, her father Richard Woiten of Norwalk, OH, her sister, Jessica Bosworth-Woiten of Ghent, NY, her fiancé, Randall Tilley, of Canaan, CT her two cousins, Scot French of Virginia and Shaun French of Pennsylvania, and many aunts, uncles and friends.

Corissa was pre-deceased by her loving step-father, Nathan Kenyon, of Ashley Falls, MA.
