David (Doc) Blanchard

February 23, 1936 — January 30, 2015

David (Doc) Blanchard, 78, passed away January 30, 2015 at his home in Stockbridge after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Ruth, three sons D. Michael Blanchard and wife Patti of Stockbridge, Henry Blanchard of Stockbridge, and Christopher Blanchard South Carolina, a daughter Julie Patton and husband Jimmy of California, a sister Nancy Kauffman and husband Chuck of South Carolina, a niece Colleen Manupelli and husband David of Rhode Island. Dave retired from Schweitzer-Mauduit Mills in Lee, MA with 32 years of services. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Stockbridge Sportsman's Club. A memorial gathering will be held in early summer at a date to be announced at which friends and family can enjoy sharing their favorite memories of Dave and those lives he touched.
