Donald Almon Coons of Springfield, MA. passed away on August 17, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield.
Born on April 4, 1938 in Worcester, MA., he was the son of the late C. Wesley and Dorothy Degnan Coons.
He was educated in Worcester and Springfield schools and was later employed at Westvaco Envelope Co. as a machine operator. He retired from that position in 2000.
Donald is survived by his brothers Charles Coon of Gt. Barrington and his two daughters Diane Fowler and Theresa Barbieri and Richard Coons and his wife Linda also of Gt. Barrington and their two children Christine Coons and Rick Coons.
Along with his parents, Donald was also predeceased by his sister Shirley Coons.
SERVICES - The family invites everyone to join them for a graveside service on Tuesday, September 5th at 12:00 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, 90 Stockbridge Road, Great Barrington, MA, conducted by Rev. William Murphy.
There will be no calling hours.
