Dorothy Conklin

Dorothy M. Conklin of Great Barrington, Massachusetts passed away on January 25, 2026.Born in North Cannan, Connecticut on August 31, 1939, she was the daughter of Albert R. Conklin and Ethel Elizabeth Blackwell Conklin.

Dorothy was educated in Cannan schools and was a graduate of Housatonic Valley Regional High School, class of 1958.

She was an avid golfer and tennis player. Dorothy was a member of Wyantenuck Country Club for fifty-two years, and proudly won ten club championships. On August 3, 1995, she finally achieved a hole in one on the ninth hole!.

Dorothy worked for Becton & Dickinson Company of Cannan, CT as a machine operator for thirty-six years, retiring in 1998.

Dorothy is survived by her brother Peter and cherished friends, the Dymek and Kays families.

A burial will be held in the Spring.
