Elizabeth M. Harvey

July 8, 1935 — October 29, 2016

Elizabeth M. Harvey, 81, of West Stockbridge, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Berkshire Medical Center.

Born in Great Barrington, Massachusetts on July 8, 1935, she was the daughter of Edmund and Blanche Skrok Rathbun.

A lifelong resident of the Berkshires, Elizabeth was educated in local schools and attended the former Searles High School. She worked at Bicron Electronics as an assembler for twenty-nine years.

Elizabeth loved going to Las Vegas and playing Bingo. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and thoroughly enjoyed spending winters in Florida with her husband. She was also a member of the former All Saint’s Church in Housatonic, MA.

She married Lee Harvey in 1957 and they would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this coming February. She also leaves her children; Leigh, Tamara and Michael Harvey, her sisters; Jennie Missaggia and Louise Candee and her brother Francis Rathbun. Elizabeth also leaves several grandchildren, her great granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son William Harvey and her sister Julia Bunce.

There will be a memorial Mass for Elizabeth M. Harvey on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at St. Patrick’s Church in West Stockbridge, MA at 10:00 A.M. Following the Mass there will be a reception at the St. Patrick's Parish Center till 4:00 p.m.. Everyone is welcome to come and share memories of Betty's life. There will be hot and cold food as well as drinks. There are no calling hours.
