Elizabeth “Betsy” Jane (Hastedt) Haber, 59, of Pittsfield, MA passed away on May 24, 2018.
Born February 8, 1959 in Great Barrington, MA she was the daughter of the late Albert and Helen Calomiris Hastedt. Betsy was a graduate of Monument Mountain Regional High School, class of 1978. She was an active member of the Pittsfield community and a beloved member of her family.
She is survived by her sisters, Patricia Pixley of Pittsfield, MA and Rosemarie Quick of Kalamazoo, MI, her daughters Misty Labshere of Pittsfield, MA and Eva Assante of VT, her aunts June Hastedt and Margaret “Marge” Gillett, two grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
Along with her parents, Albert and Helen, Betsy was also predeceased by her husband Donald “John” Haber and her sister Mary Midling.
SERVICES
- A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 1st at 11:00 a.m. at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home in Great Barrington, conducted by Rev. Chuck Young. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Cemetery in Southfield.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 31st from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home in Great Barrington.
