Gloria M. Nicolai

Gloria was a graduate of the former Searles High School and then employed by General Electric in Pittsfield prior to her marriage to Peter Nicolai in 1953. Primarily a homemaker, Gloria was a military wife for twenty years having moved twenty-one times and raising their two sons in those twenty years!
Gloria is survived by her beloved husband Peter and they would have celebrated sixty-five years of marriage on August 9, 2018. She also leaves her sons, Peter Nicolai and his wife Winnie Nourse of Sarasota, FL. and Marc Nicolai and his partner Lewis Fuchs of Galveston, TX. Gloria also leaves her granddaughter Heather Nicolai and her husband Murray Oliver of Gabriels, N.Y. and her great-granddaughter Hannah Oliver of Gabriels, N.Y. She also leaves her brother Jan Pedersen and his wife June of Stockbridge, Ma., five nieces and six nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents and two brothers Per and Alf Pedersen.
SERVICES - There will be a graveside service at the North Egremont Hillside Cemetery on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 11:00 A.M.
