Joan Marie Marks

Joan Marie Hankey Marks, 61, a native and lifelong resident passed away on September 5, 2019 at Fairview Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Great Barrington.

Born October 16, 1957 in Great Barrington, MA, Joan was the daughter of Irving and Joyce May Davis Hankey.  She attended Mt. Everett Regional High School.

Joan is survived by her son, Mort Hankey and her daughter Samantha Marks.  She also leaves her brother, Richard (Rick) Hankey of Mill River, MA, her grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was predeceased by her husband Glenn Marks, her son William W. Hankey (click to view William's obituary), and her brother Irving Hankey.

SERVICES – A graveside service celebrating the life of both Joan and her son William W. Hankey will be held on Saturday, October 19 ^th at 2:30 p.m. at the Mill River Cemetery, Mill River Southfield Road in New Marlborough.

There will be no calling hours.
