Joseph F. Kusek

Joseph F. Kusek, 86, of Great Barrington, Massachusetts passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.

He was born on August 25, 1935 in Schenectady, NY, the son of Joseph S. and Estelle (Wiecorek) Kusek.

Joseph received his bachelor’s degree from Hampden College of Pharmacy and worked as a pharmacist for all of his adult life—the majority of which was spent at Melvin’s Drug Store and Fairview Hospital in Great Barrington. He also served as a Master Sergeant in the Airforce in the early 60s. He belonged to the VFW, was a dedicated blood donor, and was a loyal volunteer at the Empire State Aerosciences Museum.

Joseph is survived by his two daughters Gail and Pam, his son John, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Joseph was predeceased by his sister Teresa Pepin and his brother Robert Kusek.

SERVICES – There will be a memorial service on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 4:00pm – 6:00pm at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home in Great Barrington, MA.
