Louis J. Trionfo

November 9, 1928 — March 17, 2024

Louis J. Trionfo passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Berkshire Medical Center.

Born and raised in Astoria, New York, he served in the US Army from 1950-1952.

His professional career was primarily spent on Wall Street.  He retired as VP of OTC Trading from Philips, Appel and Walden in 1987.  He was for a time with the Rose Agency Real Estate firm in the Berkshires.

Lou was an avid sports enthusiast, as a participant and fan of Baseball, Boxing, Football, Tennis, Swimming and Horseback riding.  He was a 25 year member of the New York Athletic Club.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy, his son Christopher, daughter Valerie, four grandchildren Alex, Dylan, Zachary and Shannon, two nephews, Martin and Salvatore, and five nieces, Camille, Jill, Kathy, Patricia and Sally Ann.

He was predeceased by his brothers, John, Salvatore and Martin as well as his nephew Robert.

He and his wife purchased a home in West Stockbridge in 1983 where he was active in the American Legion.

SERVICES: A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 27th from 2-4 pm at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home in Great Barrington.
