Marc Edward Lavalette

Marc Edward Lavalette of Great Barrington, MA, passed away on April 2, 2025 after a long illness. Born January 4, 1971, he was the beloved son of Peggy Lavalette and James Lavalette.

Marc, affectionately known as “Hood” by his friends, was an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman. He also had a deep love and special bond to all animals.

Marc is survived by his parents, his brother Billy Lavalette, nieces Miranda, Shelby, and nephew Sam, his stepmother Deb and many loving friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Marc can make a donation to the Berkshire Humane Society.
