Marvin Mirochnick, 92, a former resident of Sandisfield, MA passed away April 21, 2015 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. For the past four years Marvin has lived in Weymouth, MA to be closer to his family. Born December 19, 1922 he was the son of Abraham and Jennie Mirochnick. He was a veteran of World War II having served with the U.S. Army from January 1, 1943 until being honorably discharged on December 12, 1945. He is survived by his son Mark Mirochnick, his daughter in law Diana Clarke, his son in law, Dennis Cormier and his grandchildren, Neil Mirochnick, Aviva Cormier, Michael Mirochnick and Julia Mirochnick. He was predeceased by his wife of 54 years Tillie (Rubin) Mirochnick on April 6, 2004. The couple was married on February 25, 1950 in Bronx, New York. He was also predeceased by his daughter Linda Cormier on September 12, 2011. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 23rd at 1:30p.m. at the Sandisfield Center Cemetery on Route 57 in Sandisfield, conducted by Rabbi Kaya Stern-Kaufman.
