Mary Lou Dunham

Mary Lou Dunham, 78, of Cottage Street in Great Barrington passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

Born September 18, 1942 in Pittsfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Harry W. and Katherine Ostrander Heath. She was a graduate of the former Searles in Great Barrington.

Mary Lou worked as a dietitian at the former Willowood Nursing Home in Great Barrington for many years until she retired in 1986.  Prior to that she worked at the former Pines Nursing Home.

She married her husband, Ervin R. Dunham on November 26, 1971 in Great Barrington and together the couple attended The First Congregational Church in Great Barrington.

Along with her husband of nearly 50 years, Mary Lou is survived by her son Scott W. Dunham and his wife, Lisa M. Dunham, her grandson Cole R. Dunham, two granddaughters Angelena N. Dunham and Alexza M. Dunham.  She also leaves her brother Harry Heath, two sisters, Judy Dunham and Rowena Bazonski, her brother-in-law Charlie Dunham, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.

She was predeceased by her brother James Heath.
