Father, Son, Friend 

June 23, 1972 - June 30, 2026

His life cannot be summarized by dates and events or interests. It is best remembered for the way he made people feel valued, protected and loved.

He made ordinary moments feel grounded and whole. He believed that how you treat people matters more than you achieve, and he lived each and every day with this belief.

He lived with honesty and heart. He was loyal and kind. Family and friends were not just roles, they were commitments and honored daily through humor and unwavering care.

He believed in doing the right thing simply because it was right, listening more than speaking and showing up for those he loved. Integrity was something he practiced, not just spoke of.

His life was guided by an unbendable moral compass. He showed his love through presence, consistency and example. His legacy is not found in a list of accomplishments, but in the countless ways he made others feel seen and supported. This is what remains.

His wife, Shana and son, Brody along with his father, Michael Kinna and his wife Nancy, his mother Judy Kinna and sister Laurie Appel will remember this extraordinary man with family and friends on Friday, July 10.

SERVICES – The family of Michael S. Kinna will receive friends on Friday, July 10, 2026 from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM and 5:00 PM-7:00PM at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home in Great Barrington.
