Nancy L. Collins

November 3, 1940 — April 14, 2018

Nancy L. Collins, 77, passed away on April 14, 2018 at Fairview Commons in Gt. Barrington.

Born on November 3, 1940, she was the daughter of the late William and Juliana Reilly Besancon. A lifelong resident of Berkshire County, she graduated from Lee High School.

Nancy married her late husband Edward Collins in 1960. They spent 34 loving years together before his passing in 1994. Together they raised two sons as an Air Force family; Edward & James Collins. Along with her sons, she leaves her adored grandchildren Andrew, Nicole and Cameron Collins. Nancy also leaves her sister Judy Race and her brother William Besancon.

Nancy was primarily a homemaker. She worked as a bookkeeper at K-mart in Gt. Barrington for over 20 years. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed visiting the casinos.

The family has requested that all services be private. Nancy will be buried at the West Stockbridge Village Cemetery at the family’s convenience.
