Ngoy Rogers Nkulu, 47, of Hillside Avenue in Great Barrington died on Friday, May 27, 2016 at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born February 5, 1969 in Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) he was the son of Numbi Nkulu and Janet Ngoy Mwanza.
Ngoy married his wife Doreen Bagaya on January 15, 2011 in Kampala, Uganda. He and his daughters were finally able to join Doreen in Great Barrington in early October, 2014.
He is survived by his wife Doreen, his children Janet Ngoy Mwanza (13) and Hudah Ngoy Nkulu (12), step-children, Henry Edwin Ndawula and wife Susan Nankabirwa of Great Barrington, Ronald Mutale of Austin, TX, Job Kyazze and wife Shana Gibson Kyazze of Atlanta, GA, David Nalumoso, Julius Kyagaba and Noah Williams all of Great Barrington, MA.
He also leaves his parents, Numbi Nkulu and Janet Ngoy Mwanza in Lubumbashi, DRC and his children George Musonda (19) and Antoinette Ngoy (17) of Zambia, his brothers Christian Nkulu and Jackson Kayembe of Kampal, Uganda, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and grandchildren all over the world.
He was predeceased by his first wife Shemim Miger.
Everyone is invited to a graveside service on Saturday, June 4th at 10:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery in Housatonic, MA, conducted by Rev. William Murphy.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 3rd from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m . at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home in Great Barrington.
