Norma L. Spaulding

March 13, 1928 — April 18, 2018

Norma Laurenti Spaulding, 90, a former longtime resident of Great Barrington passed away on April 18, 2018 at Side by Side Assisted Living in Pittsfield.

Born in Lee, MA on March 13, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Carlo and Adele Pellegrini Laurenti. Norma was primarily a homemaker. She was a hostess at the former Oakwood Inn and waitressed for several years at the former Cove and Town House Restaurants in Gt. Barrington.

Norma was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star, The Thursday Morning Club and the First Congregational Church in Great Barrington. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, needlepoint and occasional trips to Connecticut casinos.

She is survived by her son William Spaulding of Pittsfield, MA and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Donald F. Spaulding on March 16, 1993. The couple was married on November 6, 1947 in Lee, MA. She was also predeceased by her son John F. Spaulding on July 5, 1980, her brother Mario and sisters; Angie, Annette Brighenti, Irma Clark and Inez Eisenberg.
