Patricia L. (Baumann) Ciolina, 96, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 28, 2021 with her loving family by her side.
Pat was born on March 11, 1925 in Pittsfield, MA to the late George and Louise (Meier) Baumann. She grew up in Housatonic, MA and graduated from Searles High School in 1943. Pat worked at Monument Mills and Bill Carroll’s Grocery store before becoming a homemaker. She was married to the late Enrico Ciolina on February 2, 1961 in Hillsdale, NY. The two spent the majority of their time living on East Street in Great Barrington. Their home became known as the “Do Drop Inn.”
Family and friends frequently stopped by to visit Pat and her fuzzy slippers, enjoy some coffee, chat, play card games, and on occasion to enjoy some of the Baumann family’s famous Cabbage Noodles, but mostly to enjoy her sense of humor. Pat always looked forward to being with family and delighted in interacting with her many nieces and nephews.
Pat is survived by her children Thomas Kelly and wife Jerrie of Gulfport, FL and Christopher Ciolina and his wife Melissa of Colebrook, CT. In addition to her sons, she is survived by 4 grandchildren, Brenda, Courtney, Whitney, and Jonathan along with several great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by brothers Joseph Baumann of Cape Cod, MA, Gerald Baumann of Lee, MA, Peter Baumann of Housatonic, MA, and sisters Joan Clark of Camden, SC, and Mary Whitbeck of Salisbury, CT.
Pat was predeceased by brothers Thomas, Jim, Paul, George, and John and sister Ann.
SERVICES – In keeping with Pat’s wishes there will be no calling hours at the funeral home but a service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 10:00am at Saint Peter’s Cemetery in Great Barrington, MA.
