Patricia A. Sullivan

Patricia Ann Sullivan passed away peacefully at Fairview Commons in Great Barrington with her family by her side after a long illness.

Born in Pittsfield on February 14, 1953 she was the daughter of Thomas and Claire Owens Sullivan.

Patricia or Patty as she liked to be called was a 1971 graduate of Monument Mountain Regional High School.  She worked at K-Mart for a short time but left due to her illness.

She was a member of the James A. Modolo VFW Ladies Auxiliary for many years.  She loved to shop, family outings and the holidays.  She also enjoyed all of the activities Fairview Commons had to offer. She was a communicant of St. Peter's Church.

Patty is survived by her sister Michele Shimmon and her husband Richard of Great Barrington.  Her brothers Patrick (Denny) and his wife Patricia of New Marlborough, Timothy and his wife Jean of Alexandria, VA and Thomas of Pittsfield. She also leaves her five nieces and nephews as well as her five great nieces and nephews along with many friends whom she cherished.

SERVICES – Calling hours will held on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 4:00pm to 7:00 pm at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home in Great Barrington. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. William P. Murphy on Monday, April 4, 2022 at 10:00am at St. Peter’s Church, 213 Main Street, Great Barrington. The burial will immediately follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, 90 Stockbridge Road, Great Barrington, MA 01230.
