Patrick Joseph Fennell

February 25, 1957 — November 22, 2022

With great sadness, Patrick Fennell died on November 22, 2022. He was born on February 25, 1957, the son of William and Mildred (Thibeault) Fennell.

Patrick was the eldest of seven and was beloved by all. He left high school and immediately joined the army. During his service to our country, he was stationed in Washington state and Germany. This inspired him to move to Somerville where he worked at the family bar, Paddy’s in Cambridge, MA. Shortly after he moved and eventually settled down in Great Barrington where he was able to establish his own successful business, “Let Me Do It”.

Patrick was passionate about local government. He was a member of Great Barrington Republican Committee, he was a member of the planning board, cable board, and played a part in the selectman’s meetings.

Patrick was an avid writer to the local paper, loved playing board games, was good for a laugh, and practical jokes.

He is survived by his siblings Joan Stillman, Mary Iandoli, Carol Stec, William Fennell II, Alice Naylor, Stephen Fennell, and several nieces and nephews.
