Robert J. Gingras, 52, passed away at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA. on February 25, 2018.
Born on January 4, 1966 in Sharon, CT., he was the son of the late Marguerite and Jean “Guy” Gingras. He was the youngest of his three siblings. He was educated in local schools and graduated from Mt. Everett Regional High School.
For many years, he owned and operated his own business, Gingras Lawn & Property Services. In his spare time, he loved riding his motorcycle and had a passion for wood working. He was also an active member of Sheffield Kiwanis.
Robert is survived by his sons, Jean and Mathieu Gingras, his fiancé Karen Streeter, his sister Colette Plaquet and her husband Mark and his brother Jean Gingras and his wife Happy. He also leaves his step-children Patrick and Monica Hartin and Shelby Streeter. Robert also leaves his beloved grandchildren; Riley, Shayne, Andon and Jenna. He will be dearly missed by his many other family members and his many friends.
Robert was predeceased by his parents and his brother Peter Gingras.
SERVICES
- Funeral services for Robert J. Gingras will be held at the Greenwood Community Church, 355 Clayton Road, Ashley Falls, MA on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. A reception will follow the service in the church fellowship hall and all are invited. There are no calling hours.
