Ruth Kaplan Lewis

Ruth Kaplan Lewis of Boynton Beach, Fl. and formerly of Sharon, MA. passed away on November 29, 2018 at Kimball Farms in Lenox, MA.  Born on March 1, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Sylvia and Joseph Kaplan and was raised in Chelsea, Ma.

Ruth graduated from Chelsea High School and then went on to Northeastern University. She was employed by UST Corp. in Boston, Ma. where she developed the UST Private Client Group.

Ruth is survived by her son Martin Lewis and his wife Sharon Sandler Lewis of Gt. Barrington, MA. and her three grandchildren; Joshua and his wife Davina, David and his wife Alexandra and Jessica and her husband Peter.  She also leaves her four adored great-grandchildren; Isabel, Jack, Henry and Madeline.

Mrs. Lewis was the widow of Hyman Lewis and mother of the late Robert Lewis.  She was also predeceased by her brother Dr. Daniel Kaplan.

Graveside services were held at Sharon Memorial Park in Sharon, Ma. where she is buried alongside her husband, son and brother.
