SHEFFIELD, MA.

Shirley Bachetti, 89, passed away on December 6, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center of pneumonia. Shirley was born on September 16, 1928 to Harold and Lena Greene and remained a lifelong resident of this area.

She was married to Bruno Bachetti, of Sheffield, who predeceased her in 1990. Together they owned and operated Bachetti’s Exxon/Mobil Service Station in Great Barrington for over thirty years.

Shirley is survived by her son Alan and his wife Kathy of East Longmeadow, by two granddaughters Jenna and her husband Dan Huggins of Gt. Barrington and Kristen and her husband Kevin MacLeod of Melbourne, FL. and one great grandson Carson Huggins.

She also leaves her sister Nancy Torrico of Monterey, her brother-in-law Massimo Bachetti of Sheffield, two sisters-in-law Pat Bachetti of Somers, CT. and Annette Bachetti of Canaan, CT. as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews and wonderful friends.

Calling hours for the late Shirley Bachetti will be on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 4 P.M. to 7P.M. at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home, 426 Main Street, Gt. Barrington, MA. 01230 with a graveside service on Wednesday morning, December 13, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at the Sheffield Center Cemetery.
