Theodore Wilson

November 5, 1928 — February 12, 2021

Theodore J. Wilson, 92, a longtime resident of Mill River passed away peacefully on Friday, February 12, 2021 at home with his family by his side.

A native and lifelong resident of the area, Theodore was born in Great Barrington, Ma. on November 5, 1928 the son of Russell and Helena Wycle Wilson. He attended grade school at the VanDeusenville one room school house and then high school at Searles.

Theodore was working as a truck driver for Palmer Lines before he served his country during the Korean War as a PFC in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Wilson worked as a truck driver for different companies before working as a Garage Supervisor for the Home Gas Company until his retirement, and then part time at Carlson Propane after retirement.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, the former Donna Coons.  The couple was married on September 11, 1954 at the First Congregational Church in Great Barrington.  He is also survived by his sister Elsa Karr of Great Barrington his  children Brad Wilson and wife Charlotte, Greg Wilson and partner Nancy,  Dawn Davis and husband Scott as well as 5 grandchildren Keith and wife Emily, Matthew and wife Amber, Kyle and partner Kendra, Chad and Adam and 5 great grandchildren Erica, Kevin, Matthew Jr., Oliver and Brayden.     A lifetime member of the NRA, bowling leagues at the Cove and travel for Sunday morning breakfasts were some hobbies along with cruises and trips to the casino with his wife.

The family would like to thank Kindred at Home and Hospicecare of the Berkshires.

SERVICES -  will be private.  A memorial will be held at a later date.
