Luis Del Mar

Longtime Berkshire resident; Native of Lima, Peru; Loving Husband, Stepfather, Grandfather, Beloved Brother, Uncle and dear Friend, Luis del Mar has passed away. On April 26, 2021 he joined his late wife, Anita Del Mar in glory. Luis was a kind and loving stepfather to Glen, Sean, and Dawn. He was the proud grandfather of Anna, Ely, and Jackson. Luis enjoyed the relationships he had with his loving sisters Maria, Ines, and Gloria. He was predeceased by his beloved brother Roberto. Luis was very loved by his niece and nephews; Mariel and her husband Hugo, Luis, Diego and his wife Yorly. And he is remembered with happiness by his great nieces; Maia, Martina, and Samara.

Luis shared a twenty year friendship with Dilan Ramirez whom he loved like a brother. And he enjoyed the friendship he shared with his former brother in law, Alfredo Salinas.

Luis was a caring man with a great sense of humor. He was a diligent employee of Four Brothers in Hillsdale. Luis had a life long passion for cooking and a genuine love of his family. Because we were blessed to know him we are now meant to miss him.

SERVICE - There are no calling hours. The memorial service for Luis and Anita will be held on Saturday May 8, @ 11:00 A.m. in French Park, 65 Prospect Lake Road, Egremont, Mass.  All who knew him and wish to celebrate his life, please come be with us. And Please wear your mask.
